From a moral/ethical POV I'm still extremely uncomfortable with Chapman being on this roster, and in fact I'm uncomfortable with him being in MLB at all. But from a pure baseball POV it can't be denied that it's worked out well for the Royals so far. Let's hope that continues until they trade him!

The sooner Chapman is traded, the better. Besides, if he does well early, four months of a rental should bring a better return than two months. Get him outta here before Memorial Day!
I'm glad to see that you agree. I'm hardly some far-left "every woman is a victim" type of person. But some women really ARE victims and some men, like Chapman, are really good at being victimizers.
Given his enormous size and strength that can hardly be difficult for him, which makes his cruelty and cowardice all the more reprehensible.
FYI a friend of mine who is a KCMO cop tells me that for every incident like this that comes to light there were almost certainly several more that went unreported. I won't speculate on whether that's the case with Chapman or not but it's a sobering thought.
