I thought it was an obvious mistake for Q to use Stratton in the 9th of a one run game with a fully rested bullpen. If score stayed 2 to 1 going into 9th, who knows? It at least would have been fun with our best hitters coming up.
Perhaps. But Stratton has been good in the past and it could’ve gone right but the command just wasn’t there. The good news is there are plenty of options in the bullpen. Next time in a similar situation Q may look a different direction.
