Agree with house money. In as the fifth or sixth seed, there’s really nothing to lose. No pressure. At least for this first round.
The wildest stat I’ve seen regarding the AL Central is that even with four of the five teams playing over .500 baseball, the division as a whole is something like 32 games UNDER .500. The White Sox are beyond terrible.
in regards with the owner Sherman spending 110 million...what does he get from the MLB in guaranteed money? Do you have eyes on any outfielders that are free agents? GO ROYALS....
I’m not sure how much money from the league is folded into the team’s revenue totals. Same for the revenue sharing numbers the team gets for playing in a small market. I do know that if you put a competitive team on the field, revenues will increase. The money is always there. The Royals are one of the few teams that chose to spend it.
As for free agent outfielders, the market seems kind of thin. Unless you’re going after Juan Soto. Which…why not?
The Boys should and will be of the mind that they are playing with house money and just let 'er rip.
I will not be upset one whit if they flame out in the WC round but I have a feeling they'll do SOMEthing special.
Completely agree Lugo should start game 1; he's steadier and has more experience.
I believe we fans should find a way to give a big old middle finger to all the Central Division haters.
The Central is going to be awesome next year, even with the White Sucks in it.
Something seems to be a bit off with BWJ; he doesn't seem to be driving the ball. Hopefully it's just because he's not getting anything to hit.

All the stress of the past 10 days have left me with no fingernails. Now it's time to celebrate. Go Royals
You’re going to need those fingernails next week. But yes, time for celebration. Well deserved.
