It seems the Royals are all about finding interesting ways to score runs in 2022. With Daniel Lynch finding his comfort zone and the bullpen locking down the win, it's a tasty recipe for success.
I would like to see a bit more flexibility in the batting order. Other than lead-off it is more important to play the roll for those hitting in front or behind you. So in my mind that matters more than where you are placed in the order. Witt isn't getting on base enough to leverage the power / production of our 4/5/6 . So a change makes sense till he gets settled. Move Beni up to 3 and Witt Jr down to 6-7. Lopez and Merri should be interchangeable in the leadoff based on who is hot at the moment. Finally- slide Mondi back to 9 so he can bunt everyone home.......
