I am going to one of the games vs the Diamondbacks and and will probably share one with my gf( she will probably eat like 2 bites) so I’ll keep you updated on how that goes.
It was REALLY big. But actually not bad until I was almost finished because I had eaten way too much and it was soggy. And I was right, almost, my girlfriend had 3 bites not 2.
I did eat that mess on Friday night. There were 2 of those monstrosities instead of just the one. The cheeseburger quesadilla was the real lowlight. Beef was mushy and the tortillas weren’t cooked at all. Everything else was really good. The hot dog was more like sausage than a hot dog. And the sriracha Cracker Jack was my favorite part of the whole shebang
The quesadilla checks out for sure. When I got the burgerizza at Turner field it was advertised as a massive bacon cheeseburger between two pepperoni pizzas as the bun. But the bottom "pizza" was just an uncooked DiGiorno pizza crust. It was like eating the stuffing out of a couch.
That sounds awful. I will never understand this trend of taking food that is just fine on its own and turning it into a bun. Pepperoni pizza? Great. Pepperoni pizza bun for a hamburger? Are you out of your mind?
After glancing through the team stats, focused on OBP, I wondered if it's time for Fermin to play every day and lead off? That spot is just a black hole.
I definitely went out to Turner field a few years ago to try their Burgerizza among other things. If I lived in KC I would get one of these just to write about it, but I don't, and I don't think Royals Review is going to pay for my flight.
Anyone eat that mess? Just curious

You have performed a great service for the"Into the Fountains" community
Hero.
I am not surprised about the quesadilla. And totally get the sriracha Cracker Jack as the best part. I need to try those on their own.

Huge issue with this team. They have a 66 OPS+ out of the first spot in the order. Only Oakland gets less production from that spot.
Am I the only person who finds it funny that the Royals keep putting guys who can't hit (Frazier, Loftin, et al.) at designated HITTER?
Is Vinnie on pace for some sort of sac fly record?
Gil Hodges has the record with 19 in a season. Vinnie is at 12. Going to be close.
I got heartburn just from looking at that picture.
Just once? I’d say that’s worth at least three times the heartburn.
The should call that meal "The Elvis" cuz anyone who eats one is gonna die on the toilet.
"You're not Jackson Pollock in the kitchen" - love it and I may use as my own in foodie friends kitchens
Use only if the food is underwhelming!
