They’re 1-0 this big week. That’s a start.

Already just as good as last week. With 6 games still to play!

It felt good to win last night, but I'm definitely still concerned about an offense that could only put together six hits, total. The four runs was an absolute master class of sequencing in addition to three solo homers. I'm disappointed we didn't get to see Maikel field his position at second, I'm interested to see how he looks there.

I’m not as concerned about the offense. Good to see Massey back in the lineup. Still need a bat to help in the OF. I was interested to see Garcia at second as well. I think he’s a good enough athlete he can make it happen. Q had him there for a handful of games last year. Jose Alguacil will definitely be helping him out if it’s going to be a longer-term option.

Massey at DH, while necessary, really hurts the lineup as now Salvy can't slide into that spot and Fermin, a sneaky good hitter, is left out.

Agreed. Salvy will need some time there. Have to keep Vinnie’s bat in the lineup and Fermin will need to be in the mix. This isn’t optimal.

Sad that Velazquez has yet to be an ongoing solution. Sad that Jake Brentz got DFA'd. Thrilled that Michael Massey is back to give Salvy a little lineup protection for once. I count 18 W's vs, 6 L's in Massey starts and I don't think that's just a coincidence.

I think Massey’s presence definitely helped this offense. And it will help it going forward. This is where Q will make his money, figuring out how to get everyone in the lineup on a regular enough basis.
