They've built a bad team with few moves to make it's quite something. All their talent outside of Witt lies in C, DH or 1b which makes for few positional adjustments. It's impressive how they've managed that. Benny can be moved at the deadline but that doesn't really open much up because Olivares will be back at that time and you have to find a spot for him.

It's truly time to move Whit but they won't. If they can find a buyer on Dozier while he's hitting it would be smart to free up space for Sal, MJ, and Vinnie/Pratto. Perhaps part with Pratto in the Benny or Whit deals to try to get something back. significant.

It is stunning how they’ve boxed themselves in. I agree on moving Dozier, but I don’t think the return would be enough for the Royals. And same for Merrifield.

Like the rest of Royals fans - I have no faith in Royals Management. It is truly amazing how they can continue to make the most obvious of moves - truly amazing!

Insanity is doing the same thing again and again while expecting a different result. Or something like that.

I too, sort of saw this coming. I chose, or have learned to not drink the Koolaid they feed us. :)

Dayton Moore is the world champion at moving the goal posts. I expect he'll announce they're building for 2024 any day now.
