2014 Game 7 of the World Series. An incredible and electric game. Not the result we wanted, bit it was like nothing else I've ever seen.

Good friend won't the ticket lottery to purchase a ticket. Then sold it to me at face value! Still thanking her for that all these years later.

That’s awesome! I was not at Game 7, but was at Game 6. Under similar ticket circumstances. The kindness that radiated around the Royals community was amazing.

This is the reverse of that question, but the biggest in-person moment in Royals baseball for me was the Jon Lester no-hitter in Fenway 😭

Oh, no! Still…kind of cool to see a no-hitter? I’ve never seen one in person.

it was really cool, but I'd have rather seen the reverse, ya know? 😁

I was at all three of the '77 playoff games vs Yanx and even though the series ended in sorrow all of the games were tight, thrilling and remain etched in my aging brain.

Yes! That’s what I was talking about! When the rivalry boiled over.

I have sadly never witnessed a great moment at Kauffman. The team was pretty much ALWAYS horrible while I lived in KC.

Speaking of which, I'm on the east coast now and so earlier start times sound AMAZING for me. I can watch the whole game before I have to get my old butt to bed!

Same here—earlier start times great for us Royals fans on east coast!

Here’s my list:

1. Game 7 of the 85 Series—the first title

2. Game 7 of the 14 Series—one Salvy swing away from what would have been the greatest moment in baseball history

3. Memorial Day 1979–Brett hits for cycle and his second homer is a walk off in the 16th inning

4. I don’t remember the exact day, but a game against the Yankees in the 1970s when Otis hit a fly ball to right center in the 9th inning and Reggie and Paul Blair collided leading to an inside the park home run. Boy, did we get on Reggie for that in right field general admission.

Love these.

Here’s the box score for the game in ‘79:

Best moment I've seen in KC was a 1990 Jim Eisenreich walk-off homer to beat Texas 1-0.

Nice! Jamie Moyer started that game!

Eisenreich had some great seasons in KC. Glad he got a ring.

I lucked into going to 2014 ALCS Game 4, but otherwise all my in-person postseason experiences come from 2015. So Gordon's homer in WS Game 1 has to top my list. LoCain scoring from first on a single...heck, all of ALCS Game 6 has to be second. For regular season games, Opening Day 2003 has to be up there. Mike Macdougal blowing away Frank Thomas was the perfect start to the whole "how the hell is this happening?" summer.

Hahaha…yes on MacDougal. And Jason Grimsley going 2 scoreless in support of Runelvys!

I was really proud of Royals fans when they cheered for Miguel Cabrera in 2012

That’s a great one that I totally did not consider. But should have.

I was at the game when Paul Molitor got his 3,000th hit. The only time I’ve seen a milestone like that.

2014 Wild Cars game will never be topped for me. The K was absolutely SHAKING, it was like the weight of thirty years fell off all our shoulders. And the ups and downs of that game made it all the more thrilling!
